- 태풍 · 집중호우 등의 기상이변 및 하수의 역류로 인한 침수피해와 상습 침수지역의 인적 · 물적 피해를 막기 위한 구조물로서, 기존 건축물의 개구부 기능(출입구, 비상구, 채광, 환기)에
고수압 유지, 침수방지의 기능이 추가된 구조물이다.
주로 지하철 역사 내부 연결통로 및 환승연결 통로와 지하철 및 건물의 외부 출입구, 해군 군부대의 침수 위험이 있는 중요 시설물, 지하 주차장 연결통로, 지하 기계실 등에 많이 쓰인다. - The Watertight door is a structure that prevents inundation damage caused by weather disturbances such as typhoons or heavy rainfall and reverse flow of foul water.
It also protects human life and property in flood-prone regions. In addition to its function as a gateway (including doorway, emergency exit, lighting, and ventilation), the Watertight
door can resist high water pressure and prevent inundation.
It is often used as an interior connecting path, a transit path, and a doorway in a subway or building, and a main facility to protect inundation for the navy, the underground parking lot and the underground machine room.
- 바닷물에도 녹슬지 않는 내식성, 바람과 수압에 견디는 내구성, 물의 누수를 차단하는 수밀성이 뛰어난 것이 특징이며 현장 여건에 따라 예상 물 수위를 결정하여 그에 따라 차수문의 크기와 형태가 달라진다.

- 수밀방식은 4방 전면수밀 방식의 일체형 구조이며 공기주입식 씰(Inflatable Seal)과 Silicon Gasket의 이중 Packing System을 채택하였다.
